May. 5 24

The day was mostly cloudy, wet, and warm. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate and moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There was a 40 to 100 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the day and possibly a 40 percent chance for rain during the night. There were several moderate to moderately heavy and heavy showers and thunderstorms in the Houston, TX area, during the morning and afternoon. Most of the rain had dissipated by the evening if not completely gone with maybe some possible lingering light to moderate and moderately heavy showers during the early and possibly late night. I witnessed heavy rain in the Cypress/Katy area, during the early and mid-morning. Then some more heavy and moderately heavy rain in the Cypress/Copperfield area, during the early afternoon. I don’t think I witnessed anymore rain after that. Maybe a possible brief light shower, during the evening while pet sitting two cats in Northwest Houston, TX.

Thoughts: Looks like that was the last of the rain for awhile.

Locations: Cypress, TX, Montrose, Monotrome, Copperfield, Northwest, and West Houston, TX.
