There were isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening in the Houston, TX area. I experienced a few down pours on my way to and at BARC during the afternoon.  And I did hear one distant rumble of thunder while at BARC. No lightning. I did not see anymore rain after the afternoon at BARC.
