Oct. 30 22

The day was clear during the morning and afternoon and partly cloudy during the evening and night. The wind speed were calm. It felt very cool during the early morning and began to feel warm during the late morning. It felt warm during the afternoon. It felt a little cool during the evening and night.

The day was cool and cloudy with a cool breeze. No rain that I know of or saw. A third of Patterson road leading up to Eldridge was closed due to the high water from all the rain yesterday. I took some pictures of the flooded park but the road itself looked to have dried out already. Although it was still closed. This will have a positive impact on the drought map that has been steadily getting worse from the lack of rain. Houston barely saw any rain all September and most of October. And we have more rain in the forecast!

Oct.28 22

As you can see from the pictures. The day was cloudy and wet. It felt warm through the morning. It started to feel a little cool during the early afternoon. I believe and then became cool during the evening. And was very cool, almost cold during the night. The wind speeds were calm with some moderate gusts. Scattered light to moderate and moderately heavy showers passed through the Houston TX area from morning through the early night. A big line of heavy showers and possibly a few embedded thunderstorms passed through the Houston, TX area during the early afternoon. I did not see any lightning or hear any rumbles of thunder. I ended up having to drive right through the line of heavy rain and had to go around a few areas of flash flooding that occurred on my way back up to north Houston for a pet sitting job from an interview that I was coming from in the Heights area. I got a little worried that I would get stranded for a minute but the rain band was moving fast enough to keep the roads from completely flooding to where they were impassable.
