The day was hot and mostly cloudy with some isolated moderate to moderately heavy showers and possibly a few thunderstorms during the morning, afternoon, and evening for the Houston, TX area. I did not see or witness any rain. Just on the radar.

Aug. 23 22

 

The day was mostly cloudy and very warm. There were scattered moderate to heavy showers and possibly a few thunderstorms during the early morning and isolated light to moderate showers and possibly a few heavier thunderstorms, during the afternoon, evening, and maybe night, in the Houston, TX area. I only witnessed some light to moderate  rain during the early morning. At my house in the Copperfield area.

Aug. 22 22

 

The day was warm, wet, and humid with a mostly cloudy sky on Jamaica beach in Galveston, TX. Moderate to heavy showers with a few rumbles of thunder without any light lightning passed through the area where me and my family were staying in Galveston, TX, during the early and mid-afternoon. The sky was mostly cloudy and dry when I arrived back in Houston, TX, during the early evening. I saw a few flashes of lightning, at my house in Copperfield, TX during the late evening but no rain.
