The day was partly cloudy and very hot with some isolated light to moderate showers and some possible thunderstorms. During the morning, afternoon, and evening for the Houston, TX area. Some of the rain was heavy. I witnessed a brief moderately heavy shower at work in Northeast Houston, TX, during the early afternoon. The rest of the day was dry and very hot. The wind Speeds were calm.
