The day was very cool during the early morning and cool during the mid-morning. Mid and late afternoon, evening and early night. It started to feel warm during the late morning and felt warm during the early afternoon. It was mostly clear during the early morning. Becoming clear sometime during the mid or maybe late morning. Wind speeds were light with some occasional moderate gusts. A line of showers and thunderstorms rolled through the Houston, TX area very early in the day. Bringing heavy wind that took out some people’s power. I did not witness any lightning or thunder or any store damage. Just leaf debris on the road. The rain was moderately heavy and lasted about 30 minutes to maybe an hour. Was in the middle of sleeping when the cold front passed through.
