I just read this on the Weather Channel's website. On this day in 2000 Dallas Fort/Worth International Air in Texas recorded 0.01 inches of rain. Ending a record 84 days without rain. And I thought the drought in Houston was bad. At least we've been getting some rain. That's about two and a half months of no rain. We almost went a month without rain in August. When didn't get any rain until the last week. I was worried this September would be dry as well. We didn't get any rain in the first two weeks. We've gotten about an inch so far and we may get some more. That didn't help the drought out that much but, it did help put out some of the wildfires. We've got a 30 percent chance for rain today and some more chances next week. I hope we get some more rain. We really need it to help stop this drought.
