The day was melting hot in late the morning and early and mid-afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms started to pop up and cool things down during the late afternoon. The showers and storms lasted through the evening. With some possible isolated showers and thunderstorms during the night. I caught the tail end of a few thunderstorms. But mostly only got some thunder and lightning strikes.
