The day was mostly cloudy, dry, and warm. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate and moderately strong gusts with some occasional strong gusts around 20 mph, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There was a 40 to 70 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the day and night. Most of the rain on the Houston, TX radar was just north of the Houston, TX area. A light to moderate shower passed through the Montrose area where I work, during the early afternoon. There was on and off light drizzle where I was in the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night.
Thoughts: Thought it would be interesting weather with the eclipse but it was just more of the same.
Locations: Montrose, Copperfield, Northwest, and West Houston, TX.
