The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate gusts and some occasional moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There were isolated light to moderate showers, popping up in and around the Houston, TX area, during the morning and afternoon. Heavy severe thunderstorms started to develop late in the evening just north of the Houston, TX area.
