The day was very hot, partly cloudy, and mostly dry. The sky looked to be partly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, and early evening. The sky looked to have become mostly cloudy, during the late evening. The sky looked to be cloudy, during the night. It felt warm, during the early and mid-morning and night. It felt very warm, during the late morning and evening. It felt hot, during the afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate gusts and some possible moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, and early evening, and late night. The wind speeds were moderately strong with strong gusts, during the late evening and night. A group of isolated severe thunderstorms began to form during the evening and passed through a majority of the Houston, TX area, during the evening and early night. Possibly lasting through the late night. I started to see dark grey and blue clouds on my way from 4th Ward to the Copperfield area where I was also pet sitting, during the early evening. The clouds got darker as well as the lightning and loud strikes of thunder got closer, during the late evening. Light rain and cloud to ground lightning strikes began, during the early night. Moderately heavy to heavy rain started to fall as I got closer to I-10 and Highway 6, during the early night. And the lightning and thunder looked to have possibly lasted through the late night. But I did not witness any rain, during the late night. But possibly some areas in Houston, TX got some rain, during the late night. I witnessed strong gusts of wind and some possible hail and power outages as well as some ponding while driving from Copperfield back into the 4th Ward, during the early night. The power went out at the restaurants and shopping centers and street lights and traffic lights but not the house where I live. In the part of the neighborhood where I live. My mom also said there was hail but no damages. At the house where I live the Copperfield area, during the severe thunderstorm, during the early night.
