May. 6 23

The day was mostly cloudy, hot, and mostly dry. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy during the morning, evening, and maybe night. The sky looked to be partly cloudy during the afternoon. I believe the wind speeds were light with moderate gusts and possibly some moderately strong gusts during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm during the early and mid-morning, late evening, and night. It felt very warm during the late morning and early evening. It felt hot during the afternoon. There looked to be a cluster of light to moderately heavy and possibly heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms, in the Houston, TX area, during the early morning. Not sure how much rain or how strong, but I did see a tree snapped by the side of the road on my way to visit a pet sitting client, during the mid-morning. In the Copperfield area. The ground looked wet outside the house where I live and I saw a few puddles, during the early and mid-morning. So there may have been some moderately heavy to heavy showers or possibly thunderstorms in my neighborhood, during the early morning. I don’t remember seeing, hearing about, or feeling any rain drops after the early morning. There may have been a few isolated brief light rain drops or showers in some parts of the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Locations: Katy, TX, Copperfield, Northwest, and West Houston, TX.
