May. 7 23

The day was mostly cloudy, wet, and warm. The sky was mostly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds were light with moderate and possibly some moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. A cluster of light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy showers and thunderstorms started to form in and around the Houston, TX area, during the early morning. And continued to poor light to moderate and sometimes moderately heavy to heavy rain throughout the afternoon. Ending sometime during the late afternoon/evening. With some possible lingering light to moderate rain in some isolated parts of Houston, TX, during the night. I witnessed light to moderate rain with some moderately heavy rain at times and lightning and low rumbles of thunder. One of the lighting strikes looked to be a possible cloud to ground strike, while I was in my car driving up Highway 6. Near Copperfield. Sometime during the late morning or afternoon.

Locations: Missouri City, Copperfield, Northwest and West Houston, TX.
