The day was mostly cloudy, warm, windy, and dry. The sky looked to mostly cloudy during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate and moderately strong gusts during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm during the early and mid-morning, late evening, and night. It felt very warm during the late morning and early evening. It felt hot during the afternoon. There may have been a 20 or 30 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area. Houston, TX did not look to have received any rain during the day or night. The rain looked to be South, West, and North of the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. I did not personally witness any rain drops where I was in the Houston, TX area, during anytime of the day or night. Or the San Felipe, TX area during the afternoon.
Thoughts: It had looked like we were going to get some rain but the rain was just too far away or maybe just not enough moisture in the atmosphere. Hoping for some rain later this week!
