The day was mostly dry, mostly cloudy, and very warm. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm during the early morning, evening, and night. It felt very warm during the mid-morning. It felt hot during the late morning and afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be light with occasional moderate and moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. I believe there was a 20 to 40 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area during the day and night. There were isolated scattered light to moderate and some moderately heavy showers in and around the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. I witnessed a brief moderately heavy shower while I was at work in the Montrose area, during the early afternoon.
Thoughts: I was really happy to see the rain even if it was brief.
