The day was mostly cloudy, dry, and warm with a cool wind. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt a little cool with a cool wind during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds were light with moderate and moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There was a 40 to 80 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the day and night. There were isolated to scattered light to moderate with some occasional moderately heavy showers in and around the Houston, TX area, during the day and night. I only witnessed some brief light drizzle or rain at times where I was in the Hockley and Houston, TX areas, during the day and night.
Thoughts: Was expecting more rain but was not surprised nor disappointed as I got to witness a very heavy thunderstorm the day before.
