The day was mostly cloudy, dry, and windy. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be light to moderate with moderately strong to strong gusts of maybe 20 + mph. Possibly 30 mph at times, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and looked to have calmed down to light with possibly some moderate and moderately strong gusts, during the night. There did not look to be any chances for rain, during the day for the Houston, TX area. There was a 40 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the night. I do not remember seeing any rain anywhere in or near the Houston, TX area, during the day, or night. I did not see, feel, or witness any rain drops where I was in the Houston, TX area, during the day, or night.
Thoughts: A very windy day for sure! My sisters house lost power for about an hour during the early/mid-afternoon.
