Dec. 9 23

The day was mostly cloudy, wet and dry, and warm. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm, during the morning and early afternoon. It felt a little cool, during the mid and late afternoon and evening. It felt cool during the early night and very cool during the late night. The wind speeds were mostly light with occasional moderate to moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, and evening. There were stronger gusts during the night as the cold front was passing through. The forecast called for a 20 to 40 percent chance for rain during the day and I believe a 0 to 20 percent chance for rain during the night. A few lines of light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy rain passed through the Houston, TX area, during the mid and late afternoon, evening, and early night. I personally witnessed some light sprinkles during the late and possibly the mid-morning with thunderstorms during the mid and late afternoon and evening in and around the Houston, TX area. And a light sprinkle during the early night while in the Copperfield area.

Thoughts: I really enjoyed seeing the rain and thunder and lightning. Was a surprise!!

Locations: Little Spring, Cypress, TX, Katy Mills, Katy, TX, Copperfield, 610 & I-10, Norhwest and West Houston, TX.
