The day was a little cool, wet, and cloudy. The sky looked to be cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, and evening. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy with light to moderate dense fog during the night. It felt cool during the early and mid-morning. It felt a little cool during the late morning, afternoon, evening, and night. Light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy showers and thunderstorms passed through the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, and evening. Just some possible remaining light or moderate showers in the Houston, TX area, through the early and possibly the late night. I witnessed on and off light to moderate and moderately heavy rain through the evening. And I heard a few low loud rumbles of thunder during the early afternoon. Some minor street flooding but nothing severe.
Thoughts: A very rainy day. Not as severe as they were expecting due to an atmosphere cap.
