Jan. 2 24

The day was cold, mostly dry, and cloudy. The sky looked to be cloudy during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt cold during the morning, early afternoon, late evening and night. It felt very cool, during the mid and late afternoon, and early evening. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate and moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There was a 40 to 60 percent chance for rain during the day and a 80 percent chance for rain during the night, for the Houston, TX area, I believe. There were light to moderate showers North and West of the Houston, TX area, during the morning through the early afternoon. The light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy rain looked to have entered into the Houston, TX area, sometime during the late or possibly mid-afternoon and lingered around through the night.

Thoughts: I enjoyed seeing the heavy rain. I have not seen a good heavy rain in awhile.

Locations: Montrose, Copperfield, Memorial, Northwest, and West Houston, TX.
