The day was cloudy, wet, and warm. The sky looked to be cloudy to mostly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt a little cool, during the early and mid-morning, and early evening. It felt warm, during the late morning and afternoon. It started to feel cool during the late evening. It felt cool, during the early night. It felt very cool, during the late night. The wind speeds were light with possibly some moderate and moderately strong gusts in between showers and storms, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There was an 80 to 100 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the day and night. I witnessed on and off rounds of light to moderate rain with some occasional moderately heavy to heavy rain where I was in the Houston, TX area, during the day and night. There were one or two flashes of lightning with some possible low rumbles of thunder as well, during the afternoon or evening and night.
Thoughts: Crazy day of rain. I did not witness any floods or flooding other than some huge puddles. There were a lot of river flood warnings for people living in more rural areas.
Locations: Copperfield, Montrose, Autumn Oaks, Northwest, and West Houston, TX.
