Thoughts: I saw lots of heavy rain where I was in the Woodlands, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, and evening. The power went out at my house in northwest Houston, TX, messing up the breakers, during the early morning. There was lots of lightning and loud thunder associated with the heavy rain bands. There was also lots of flash flooding in the Tomball and The Woodlands, TX area.

Night time microphysics RGB and fog imagery shows low clouds and fog covering much of SE Texas once the high clouds moved east. IFR/LIFR conditions are likely the next 6 to 12 hours with low ceilings. There may be some dense fog for KCLL/KUTS/KCXO to contend with through the morning hours. Visibility still could drop for the Houston area terminals with 1-2 SM possible with some intermittent times of less than a mile. Conditions should improve 15-18Z Monday with VFR for the afternoon.
