Sep. 22 23

The day was partly cloudy, dry, and very hot. The sky looked to be partly cloudy, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt warm, during the early morning and night. It felt very warm, during the mid-morning. It felt hot, during the late morning and evening. It felt very hot, during the afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be light with possibly some moderate to moderately strong gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There looked to be isolated moderate to moderately heavy and heavy showers and thunderstorms just to the North and South of the Houston, TX area, during the afternoon, evening, and maybe morning. The showers and thunderstorms fizzled out during the late evening. There was a 30 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the day. I don’t not think any of the showers or thunderstorms made it into the Houston, TX area that I know of or saw. I did witness a very brief light drizzle while driving on the Southwest Freeway headed towards Katy, TX, during the late evening. That is the only rain that I saw or witnessed.

Thoughts: Was hoping for some more rain. It was really hot today.

Locations: Willis, TX, (By accident) Katy, TX, Montrose, Copperfield, Northwest, and West Houston, TX.
