Sep. 9 23

The day was mostly dry, hot, and partly cloudy. The sky looked to be mostly cloudy, during the early morning. The sky looked to have become clear during the mid-morning and stayed clear through the late morning. The sky looked to have become partly cloudy, during the early afternoon. The sky looked to have stayed partly cloudy through the evening and maybe the night. I believe the sky possibly became clear, or mostly clear again, during the night. It felt a little cool, during the early morning. It felt warm, during the mid-morning and night. It felt very warm, during the late morning and evening. It felt hot, during the afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate and moderately strong gusts, during the mid and late morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderately strong to strong gusts, during the early morning. There was a 50 percent chance of rain for the Houston, TX area throughout the day. The Eastern side of Houston, TX got the bulk of the Heavy thunderstorms. While the West looked to have only gotten brief  light to moderate and possibly moderately heavy rain, during the early morning. I got to see a good lightning show on my way to some pet sitting visits during the early morning. In the West Houston, TX area. I only saw a very brief few drops of rain on my windshield while leaving one house, during the early morning. There were more light drops of rain and the road was very wet as I approached the Montrose and Heights area for work, during the early morning. That was the only rain that I remember seeing or witnessed.

Thoughts: Enjoyed the lightning show!!! Still no rain for my side of town. It has been weeks!!!

Locations: Katy, TX, 4th Ward, The Rice, Downtown, Montrose, Copperfield, Norrhwest, and West Houston, TX.
