Sep. 4 23

The day was partly cloudy, wet, and hot. The sky looked to be partly cloudy with mostly cloudy at times, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and maybe night. It felt very warm, during the early and mid-morning, late evening, and night. It felt hot, during the late morning, afternoon, and early evening. The wind speeds looked to be light with moderate and moderately strong gusts at times. Isolated light to moderate and moderately heavy and some heavy showers and thunderstorms passed through the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, and evening. There was a 50 % chance for rain for the Houston, TX area. Most areas got at least a light shower or a sprinkle. While some got a good soaking. Mostly the West and Southwest areas. I drove through and witnessed more than a few light to moderate showers as I was driving through the Houston, TX area doing pet sitting. I also heard a few rumbles of thunder in the Braeswood area, during the early afternoon.

Thoughts: Glad to see some rain. Hoping to see some more!!!

Locations: Katy Gap Road, Katy, TX, Skinner, Cypress, TX, Copperfield, Braeswood, Autumn Oaks, 4th Ward, Downtown, Northwest, Southwest, and West Houston, TX.
