Notes: Big to small, bright white, mostly light and medium grey, some light to medium blueish grey, thick, flat, high stratus clouds looked to cover the whole and sometimes most of the sky in northwest and west Houston, TX during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be relatively calm with moderate and some occasional strong to really strong gusts in northwest and maybe west Houston, TX during the morning. It started to feel a little warmer, almost cool in west Houston, TX during the late morning. It felt cool in northwest Houston, TX during the early afternoon. It started to feel cold, almost cool in northwest Houston, TX, sometime during the mid, late afternoon, or maybe early evening. It felt cold, almost cool in northwest Houston, TX during the late evening. It felt cold in northwest Houston, TX during the early night. Light to heavy showers with some possible thunder and lightning were clustered near the southeast area of Houston TX and revolving upward through the other areas of Houston, TX, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. I saw some light to moderate showers at my house in northwest Houston, TX during the mid and late afternoon, evening, and night. I didn't here about any damages from the showers and possible thunderstorms. I did see some fallen twigs in my yard, but that was it. There was a coastal flash flood watch issued.

THIS FEATURE WILL INDUCE A SURFACE NEAR COASTAL TROUGH THESE TWO FEATURES WILL WORK IN TANDEM TO PRODUCE PERIODS OF RAIN ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. RAINFALL TOTALS BY MONDAY AFTERNOON WILL GENERALLY AVERAGE BETWEEN 3 AND 5 INCHES WITH POSSIBLE ISOLATED TOTALS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES.
