The wind speeds became moderate with moderately strong to really strong gusts in northwest Houston, TX, sometime during the mid, late morning, or maybe early afternoon. The wind speeds looked to have become relatively calm with moderate gusts and some occasional really strong gusts in northwest Houston, TX during the evening. I didn't see, or feel any rain drops. I think there might have been a dense fog advisory during the early morning, mainly for southeast Houston, TX. I didn't see any fog where I was in northwest Houston, TX.
Thoughts: A very unseasonably warm Christmas, but not for Houston, TX. I even got to swim in the pool. With a little help from the pool heater though. A big difference from what people were experiencing in the rest of the country, except for maybe Florida and other southern states.
