Notes: Big to small, bright white, mostly light to dark, thick, puffy stratus clouds covered the whole sky in northwest Houston, TX during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be relatively calm with moderate gusts and some occasional strong gusts (especially in the morning) in northwest Houston, TX during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It felt cold in northwest Houston, TX during the early and mid-morning. It felt cold, almost cool in northwest Houston, TX during the late morning and afternoon. It started to feel cold in northwest Houston, TX during the evening. It felt cold in northwest Houston, TX during the night. Light to really heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms swirled around the Houston, TX area during the early and mid-morning. Most of the rain had been gone except for a few lingering light to moderate showers in the Houston, TX area during the late morning. There were still some lingering light to moderate showers with some light to moderate drizzle in the Houston, TX area during the afternoon and evening. The rain looked to have left the Houston, TX area during the early night. My house got some good really heavy showers during the early morning with isolated light to moderate showers and drizzle from the mid-morning thru sometime during the afternoon, or maybe evening. There was a flash food watch issued for the Houston, TX area from 12 am until 12 pm. There was some flash flooding and large puddles during the early morning in the Houston, TX area, but I didn't hear about any damages, or long lasting floods.
Thoughts: Spent the whole day at home today. Didn't get to see much of what was going on with the weather outside. It looks like the rain is over for now. I'm just hoping I can survive the cold blast Thursday through Saturday.
