Notes: Big to small, bright white mixed with light to dark grey and some blueish grey, thick, flat, puffy stratus clouds looked to cover most of the sky in northwest and west Houston, TX, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate gusts in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate to moderately strong gusts in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning and early afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate to moderately strong gusts in Cypress and Hockley, TX during the early afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate to moderately strong gusts in northwest Houston, TX during the mid and late afternoon and evening. Th wind speeds looked to be relatively calm with moderate to moderately strong gusts in northwest Houston, TX during the night. It felt warm in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. It felt warm in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning. It started to feel hot in Cypress, Hockley, and west Houston, TX during the early afternoon. It felt hot in northwest Houston, TX during the mid and maybe late afternoon. It felt very warm in northwest Houston, TX during the early evening. It felt warm in northwest Houston, TX during the late evening and night. There was a slight chance for showers and maybe a few thunderstorms in and around the Houston, TX area. I only saw light to moderately heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms to the west of the Houston, TX area from near Katy and Columbus going north to Prairie View, on the radar when I looked during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. I didn't see any showers, or thunderstorms anywhere in the Houston, TX area. There might have been some near the coast, around Galveston, TX.

Thoughts: It actually got hot! A day before Christmas. Not very unusual for Houston, TX, but not what I was expecting right after the cold blast that Houston, TX got on Monday.
