Notes: There looked to be a heavy dense fog with clear skies in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. The sky looked to be clear in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning and early and mid-afternoon. I started to see some big to small, bright white, high, thin, wavy stratus, or maybe cirrus clouds in the sky in west Houston, TX during the late afternoon. I saw a deck of dark grey, thick, flat low stratus clouds in the sky in northwest Houston, TX during the evening. Big to small, bright white, thin, wavy high stratus clouds looked to be widely scattered across the sky in northwest Houston, TX during the early night. The wind speeds looked to be calm in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. The wind speeds looked to be calm with some moderate gusts in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning and afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be moderate with moderately heavy to strong gusts in northwest Houston, TX during the evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate gusts in northwest Houston, TX during the early night. It felt cold in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. It started to feel cool in west Houston, TX during the mid-morning. It felt cool in west Houston, TX during the late morning. It felt cool almost warm in west Houston, TX during the early and mid-afternoon. It felt cool in west Houston, TX during the late afternoon. It felt cold in northwest Houston, TX during the evening and night. I didn't see, feel, or hear about any rain drops anywhere in, or near Houston, TX, during the morning, afternoon, evening, or night.
Thoughts: It felt a lot warmer today than it did yesterday. The early morning, evening and night felt pretty chilly though. It was also a lot drier. I'm still bracing for impact with the oncoming strong cold front.
