Summary: The day was warm, mostly cloudy, and dry. Light to heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms were scattered across most of east Houston, TX and parts of other areas in and around the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. I saw a few moderate sprinkles falling on my cars wind shield in northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening.  I didn't see any rain before, or after that. Altostratus and alto stratocumulus with stratocumuls and stratus clouds looked to cover most of the sky during the morning, afternoon, and evening. The sky looked to be clear, or maybe mostly clear during the night. The wind speeds looked to be calm with moderate to moderately strong gusts. It felt warm during the morning, evening, and night. It felt hot during the afternoon. There were no watches, warnings, alerts, weather statements, or advisories issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps were in the 70's and the high temps were in the 90's, for the Houston, TX area. I didn't hear about any flooding, or damages from the rain that fell in and around the Houston, TX area.

Locations: Northwest and west Houston, TX.

Thoughts: It felt hot during the afternoon. I feel like this is the first of many hot afternoons in Houston, TX, for the next few months.
