Summary: The day was warm and mostly cloudy. Lots of rain during the evening and night for most of the Houston, TX area. Light to moderately heavy with some really heavy rain started to fall in and around the Houston, TX area during the evening and continued on through the night. I saw some light to moderately heavy rain with some really heavy rain in northwest and west Houston, TX, during the evening and some light to moderate rain during the night in northwest Houston, TX. There was some thunder and lightning with maybe some hail in some areas. There were no warnings, watches, advisories, alerts, or weather statements issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The sky was mostly mostly cloudy to cloudy. The wind speeds were calm with moderate to moderately strong gusts. The rain left some huge puddles, but no flooding, or damage, that I know of/ The low temps were in the 60's and the high temps were in the 80's.


Locations: Northwest and west Houston, TX.


Thoughts: I was excited to see the rain. I didn't think my area of Houston, TX was going to get any rain.
