Summary: The day was warm, mostly cloudy, and windy. Some isolated light to maybe moderate showers in and around the Houston, TX area, during the day, and a few thunderstorms in the east Houston, TX area, especially during the morning. I saw some drizzle in northwest and west Houston, TX, during the afternoon. A light shower passed over my house in northwest Houston, TX, during the late night. The wind speeds were moderate with moderately strong gusts and really strong 20 to 25 mph + gusts. The sky stayed cloudy to mostly cloudy throughout the day. There was a severe thunderstorm warning for the east Houston, TX area, during the mid-morning. There was a wind advisory issued for the Houston, TX area for the afternoon. There were no other watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's and the high temps looked to be in the 80's, for the Houston, TX area. There were no flooding, or damages reported from the showers, or thunderstorms reported for the Houston, TX area, that I know of.

Thoughts: Didn't see as much rain as I thought Houston, TX would get.
