Notes: Big to small, bright white, thick and thin, flat, wavy, high stratus clouds looked to be widely scattered across the sky in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. The sky looked to have become mostly clear with only a few big to small, bright white, thick and thin, flat, wavy, high stratus clouds in west Houston, TX, sometime during the early, or maybe mid-afternoon. The sky looked to be mostly clear with only a few big to small, bright white, thick and thin, flat, wavy high stratus clouds in northwest and west Houston, TX during the late afternoon. The sky looked to be mostly clear with only a few big to small, bright white, thick and thin, flat, wavy high stratus clouds in northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening. The sky looked to have become clear in northwest Houston, TX, sometime during the early night, or maybe late evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate and moderately strong gusts in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning and afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate to moderately strong gusts in northwest Houston, TX, during the late afternoon and early evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm in northwest Houston, TX during the late evening and early night. It felt cold, almost very cold in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. It started to feel cool in west Houston, TX during the mid-morning. It started to feel warm in west Houston, TX during the late morning. It felt warm with maybe a little cool wind in west Houston, TX during the afternoon. It felt a little cool in northwest Houston, TX during the evening. It felt cool in northwest Houston, TX during the early night. There was a 0 to 10 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, and maybe evening. There was a 10 to 40 percent chance for rain for the Houston, TX area during the night. There were no advisories, watches, or warnings issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low was in the low to mid 40's and the high was in the low to mid 70's, I think, in the Houston, TX area.


Summary: It was a warm, sunny, and dry day. I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. I didn't see any rain anywhere in, or near the Houston, TX area, on the radar, during anytime of the day.


Thoughts: It was very cold this morning. Was that from Tuesday's cold front? Or from another cold front? Houston, TX is supposed to get more rain than expected Friday. I am interested to see what happens.
