Big to small, bright white, mostly light to dark grey, thick, flat, puffy low stratus clouds looked to cover most of the sky in northwest and central Houston, TX, during the early evening. Only a some bright white with maybe some light to dark grey, thick, flat, puffy, high stratus clouds looked to be scattered across the sky in northwest Houston and Cypress, TX, during the late evening and early night. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate and moderately strong gusts in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate and moderately strong gusts in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning and afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some moderate and moderately strong gusts in northwest and central Houston, TX, during the early evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm in northwest Houston and Cypress, TX, during the late evening and early night. It felt cool in northwest and west Houston, TX during the early morning. It felt a little cool in west Houston, TX during the mid and late morning and afternoon. It felt a little cool in northwest and central Houston, TX during the early evening. The low was in the low to mid 50's and the high was in the low to mid 60's, with maybe some areas getting into the high 60's, or maybe low 70's, in the Houston, TX area. NOAA reported some possible fog development in the Houston, TX area, during the night.


Summary: The day was mostly cloudy, a little cool, and wet. Two to three rounds of light to heavy showers and thunderstorms passed through the Houston, TX area, during the morning and afternoon. There were still some scattered light to moderate showers and maybe a few thunderstorms on the eastern and southern side of Houston, TX, during the evening. A few light to moderately heavy showers and one thunderstorm passed over my house in northwest Houston, TX during the early morning. Light to moderately heavy to heavy showers and maybe a thunderstorm passed over where I work in west Houston, TX during the early, mid, and maybe late morning. A few light to moderately heavy to heavy showers and a thunderstorm passed over where I work in west Houston, TX, during the early and mid-afternoon. There might have been another light to moderate shower that passed over where I work in west Houston, TX, sometime during the late afternoon, but I don't remember. I didn't see any more rain after that. The showers and thunderstorms only caused the roads to get wet with only a few small puddles, no damages, or flooding. I didn't see any fog, where I was in northwest Houston, TX, during the night.


Thoughts: Houston, TX got a lot more rain that I expected it to today, but I wasn't surprised. I am looking forward to some above average temps Saturday and Sunday.

of the rain could be heavy late Sunday night into Monday morning.
