Summary: The day was hot, mostly dry, and sunny. There were a few light to moderate isolated showers and heavy thunderstorms in and around the Houston, TX area, during the late afternoon, evening, and maybe night. There might have also been some isolated showers and thunderstorms during the morning and early and mid-afternoon, in the Houston, TX area. I saw a few rain drops on my cars windshield, on my way home from work in northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening. A heavy thunderstorm passed over my house in northwest Houston, TX, during the late evening. The sky looked to be mostly clear, during the early morning. Alto stratus and stratus and stratocumulus clouds started to roll in and cover most of the sky, sometime during the mid-morning and stayed around through the evening and maybe night. There also looked to be some nimbo stratus clouds in the sky, during the late evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some gentle to moderate gusts. There were moderate to moderately strong gusts, during the evening. It felt warm during the morning, late evening, and night. It started to feel hot, during the mid-morning. It felt hot, during the late morning. It started to feel really hot, during the early afternoon. It felt really hot, during the mid and late afternoon. It felt very warm, during the evening. There were no watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's and the high temps looked to be in the 90's, for most of the Houston, TX area.


Storm Summary: There were a few flare ups of heavy thunderstorms in and around the Houston, TX area, during the evening and maybe other times, during the day. I didn't see, or hear about any flooding, or storm damages.


My Storm Summary: Big, high, swirling dark clouds moved in closer as low rumbles of thunder and a few flashes of lightning started getting louder and brighter. The rain was moderately heavy to heavy and lasted for about 10 to maybe 20 minutes. At my house in northwest Houston, TX, the place where the thunderstorm rolled through, during the late evening. I didn't experience any damages, or flooding, just some wet roads and a few small puddles.
