Summary: The day was cloudy, a little cool, and wet. Huge bands of light to really heavy rain swirled through the Houston, TX area, during the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. There looked to have maybe been a few thunderstorms within those bands of rain. Light to moderately heavy rain continued to fall throughout most of the day, where I was in northwest and west Houston, TX, during the morning and afternoon and in Cypress and northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening, and in northwest Houston, TX, during the late evening and night. There were no advisories, watches, warnings, or statements issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. There was no storm damages, or flooding reported other than a few twigs and big puddles. The low temps were in the 60's and maybe some 50's and the high temps were in the high 60's and maybe some 70's, in the Houston, TX area. The wind speeds were mostly calm with maybe some moderate to moderately strong gusts. The temps stayed mostly warm to a little cool during the morning, afternoon, and evening. It started to feel cool during the night.

Thoughts: Houston, TX got lots of rain and now the cold.
