Summary: The day was mostly a little cool, dry, and sunny. Maybe some rain. There looked to be some scattered light showers on the radar, in and around the Houston, TX area, during the night. It may have been a little breezy. There was a fire weather statement and maybe a small craft advisory issued by NOAA. There were no other advisories, watches, warnings, or statements issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps were in the 40's and the high temps were in the 70's, for the Houston, TX area. It felt cold during the early morning and cool during the mid-morning and night. It felt warm to a little cool, almost warm, during the late morning, afternoon, and evening.


Location: Northwest and west Houston, TX and Cypress, TX.


Thoughts: It felt colder this morning than I thought. Nothing much going on. Houston, TX is foretasted to have lots of rain next week.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon with
low relative humidity near 20 to 25 percent and some wind gusts
between 10 and 20 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

An eastward moving storm system will bring increasing rain chances to
the area over the weekend. Some locally heavy rainfall is possible
mainly along and south of the Interstate 10 corridor.
