Summary: The day was mostly cloudy, cool, and mostly dry. A few light to heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms were still swirling around the Houston, TX area, during the early morning, before sunrise. Moderate to Moderately heavy rain was falling at my house in northwest Houston, TX, during the early morning, before sunrise. I didn't see, or hear about any other rain falling after that. It felt cold during the early and mid-morning, then it felt cool, during the late morning and evening. It started to feel cold again, during the night. It felt cool, almost warm during the afternoon. The wind speeds were calm with maybe some moderate to moderately strong wind gusts. The low temps were in the 40's and the high temps were in the 60's with maybe some 70's, in Houston, TX. I didn't hear about any advisories, watches, warnings, or weather statements being issued for the Houston, TX area, during anytime of the day. The rain just brought some more brief wet roads and some big puddles.

Thoughts: It felt a little cooler than I thought it would. I didn't think that the temp was going to get into the 40's. It did start to feel warm, during the afternoon. No rain for the Houston, TX area, for awhile, just a few chances for some showers later during the week.
