Summary: The day was cold, sunny, and dry. There didn't look to be any rain over any of the locations in the Houston, TX area, during anytime of the day. There may have been some light rain/snow showers and drizzle in some locations in the Houston, TX area, during the early morning, before sunrise, when the sky looked to have been completely covered in stratus clouds. I didn't see, feel, or hear any drops of precip, where I was, during anytime of the day. I think the sky looked to have been completely covered in stratus clouds, sometime during the early morning, before sunrise. The sky looked to have been clear with maybe some alto stratus clouds, during the early morning, after sunrise. Alto stratus clouds looked to be scattered across the sky, from sometime, during the late, or maybe mid, or early morning, through sometime during the afternoon, or evening, where alto stratus clouds looked to have become widely scattered across the sky. The sky looked to be clear with maybe some alto stratus clouds, during the night. I think the wind speeds looked to be calm with gentle to moderate gusts with some moderately strong gusts. It felt bitterly cold, during the early morning. It felt freezing, during the mid-morning. It felt very cold, during the late morning. It felt cold, almost very cool, during the afternoon. It felt cold, during the evening. It felt cold, maybe very cold, during the early night. It felt bitterly cold, during the late night. There was a Hard Freeze Warning issued until 9 am, this morning, by NOAA. There were no other watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temperatures looked to be in the mid to low 20's and the high temperatures looked to be in the 40's with maybe some low 50's, I think, for the Houston, TX area.

My Storm Summary: I didn't see, feel, or hear any drops of precip, where I was during anytime of the day. I didn't see any precip producing, or thunderstorm type clouds, that I know of. There might have been some precip producing clouds at my house, during the early morning, before sunrise. I didn't see any wet roads, puddles, or wet ground. I didn't see any flooding, ice, or damage caused by the weather. I didn't see any flashes of lightning, or hear any rumbles of thunder.

Thoughts: The early morning and late night was really cold, but it started to feel a little bit better, during the afternoon.

north winds to the northeast late Thurs afternoon and perhaps the
increase of high clouds from the NW. 41

Mostly clear skies and calm winds across most of the area this
evening. Temps at 8 PM were already in the upper 20s at CXO and
DKR, so the hard freeze warning is on track in the northeast
areas. Will be adding a few counties to the hard freeze warning:
Montgomery, Grimes, and Madison. Nudged temps down a couple of
degrees across much of the area based on evening temp trends.
Expect rural inland areas outside the hard freeze warning to fall
to the mid to upper 20s. The min temp forecast is a little tricky
with increasing cirrus expected later tonight. 33
