Summary: The day was warm, sunny, and dry. No rain, that I know of. I only saw some scattered isolated showers on TWC's Houston, TX radar, during the early night, but am not sure if that was real precip, or not. It may have just been radar echo, or something. I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. Alto, or maybe cirro stratus clouds looked to be scattered across the sky, during the early and mid-morning. Alto stratus clouds looked to have started to be scattered across the sky, during the late morning and looked to have become widely scattered, sometime during the early afternoon and continued to be widely scattered through the late evening. Alto, or maybe cirro stratus clouds looked to be scattered across the sky, during the early night. The wind speeds looked to be calm with gentle to moderate gusts with some moderately strong gusts and some occasional really strong gusts (around 20 mph.) It felt a little cool, during the early and mid-morning, late evening and night. It felt warm, almost very warm, during the late morning. It started to feel very warm, during the early afternoon. It felt very warm, almost hot, during the mid and late afternoon. It felt very warm, then warm, during the early evening. There were still two River Flood Warnings issued for the Houston, TX area. There were no other watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's with maybe some 60's and the high temps looked to be in the 80's, for the Houston, TX area.
Houston, TX Storm Summary: There were still roads covered in water, or at least road closures from previous, or current water covered roads, going on in the Houston, TX area. There were no reports of thunder, or lightning. I didn't hear about any reports of storm damage.
My Storm Summary: I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. I didn't see any storm clouds, hear any thunder, or see any lightning. I did see what looked like a Ford F-150 pick up and some debris on a recently opened road, that looked like they had been in Harvey's flood waters, on Barker Cypress road, going north, coming in from I-10 Katy, TX, towards highway 529 in northwest Houston, TX.
Locations: Northwest Houston, TX, Cypress, TX, and Katy, TX.
Thoughts: Another round of sunshine and dry air for the Houston, TX area today. No rain in sight, but lots of sunshine through most of this week, with maybe some showers on Saturday? Maybe I am not sure. Houston, TX is still trying to dry out, so I am not too worried about any rain chances right now. I am enjoying this dry and sunny weather.

Onshore flow returns Thursday which will allow more humid air mass to gradually advect into the area for late in the week and weekend. Next chance of rain at all would be next Saturday when couldnt rule out a typical summertime isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm but keeping out of grids for now as chance still quite small. 18 MARINE... Moderate northerly to northeasterly winds will continue over the bays and Gulf. Will keep the small craft should exercise caution in place for tonight. The WNA wave model shows the swell from Irma moving across the Gulf tonight with the impacts occurring more over the middle and lower Texas coast. However, some swell impacts should affect the Upper Texas coast later tonight and on Monday. Latest models show tides of about 3 to 3.2 feet tonight. Swells combined with the moderate winds should help provide a high risk for rip currents especially starting tomorrow when Irmas swell arrives. May need to extend the rip current statement later tonight for Monday. Improving conditions are expected Tuesday through the mid week period as Irma moves into the southeastern United States, with light to occasionally moderate offshore flow gradually becoming onshore by Thursday and continuing into the weekend. 40 && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
