Summary: The day was hot, sunny, and dry. Maybe some rain. There looked to be a few isolated light showers in the Houston, TX area, on TWC's radar, during the early night. I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. The sky looked to be clear, during the early and mid-morning and night.Alto stratus, stratus and stratocumulus clouds looked to be widely scattered across the sky, from sometime, during the early afternoon, or maybe late morning, through the evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm with gentle to moderate gusts. It felt warm, during the early morning. It started to feel very warm, during the mid-morning. It started to feel hot, during the late morning. It felt hot, during the afternoon. It started to feel very warm again, during the early evening. It felt very warm, during the late evening and night. There were no watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's and the high temps looked to be in the 90's with maybe some 80's, for the Houston, TX area.


Houston, TX Storm Summary: There might have been some rain in the Houston, TX area. There was a 20% chance for rain, for Houston, TX. I saw some isolated light showers on TWC's radar, in the Houston, TX area. I am not sure if they were real showers, or just radar echo. There are still road closures and possible roads covered with water in the Houston, TX area. I didn't hear about any storm damage.


My Storm Summary: I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. I didn't see any storm looking clouds, wet, or flooded roads, or lightning. I didn't hear any rumbles of thunder. I saw debris and high water on the sides of the roads, while I was driving down Clay, road, in northwest Houston, TX.

Thoughts: It really felt like summer with the 90 degree highs today. I am hoping to see some rain soon.
