Summary: The day was mostly cloudy, mostly dry, and calm. Isolated moderate to moderately heavy and heavy showers with some possible thunderstorms looked to have passed over the Houston, TX area, during the afternoon and evening. A moderately heavy shower passed over where I work, in northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening and maybe parts of the late afternoon. Alto stratus clouds looked to be widely scattered across the sky, during the early morning. Alto stratus, stratus and stratocumulus clouds looked to have started to cover most of the sky, sometime during the late, or maybe mid-morning. Alto stratus, stratus, and stratocumulus clouds looked to cover most of the sky, during the afternoon and evening. Alto stratus with maybe some stratus clouds, looked to be scattered across the sky, during the night. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some gentle to moderate gusts and maybe some occasional moderately strong gusts. It felt warm, during the early morning and evening. It started to feel very warm, during the mid-morning. It felt very warm, almost hot, during the late morning and afternoon. It felt very warm, during the night. There were no watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's and the high temps looked to be in the 80's with maybe some 90's, or 90's with maybe some 80's, for the Houston, TX area.


Houston, TX, Storm Summary: Isolated moderate to moderately heavy and heavy showers with some possible thunderstorms looked to have passed over the Houston, TX area, during the afternoon and evening. I didn't hear about any reports of flooding, or storm damage.


My Storm Summary: A moderately heavy shower passed over where I work, in northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening and maybe parts of the late afternoon. I drove through wet roads with small to big puddles, on my way home, during the late evening. I didn't see any flooding, lightning, or storm damage. I didn't hear any rumbles of thunder.


Locations: Northwest and west Houston, TX.


Thoughts: Not much going on with the weather, just some chances showers and thunderstorm for the Houston, TX area, for the rest of the week.
