Summary: The day was hot, sunny, and mostly cloudy. Isolated moderate to moderately heavy and heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms looked to be scattered across the Houston, TX area, during the afternoon, evening, and maybe morning. Some light drizzle looked to be falling on my car's front window, on my way to work in northwest Houston, TX, during the early morning. Alto stratus and stratus clouds looked to cover most of the sky, during the early morning. Cirro stratus, alto stratus and stratus clouds started to cover most of the sky, sometime during the early, or maybe mid-afternoon, or maybe late, or mid-morning. Cirro stratus, alto stratus, and stratus clouds looked to cover most of the sky, during the late afternoon and evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm with maybe some gentle to moderate gusts and maybe some occasional moderately strong gusts. It felt warm, during the early morning, late evening and night. It felt very warm, starting to feel hot, during the mid-morning. It felt hot, during the late morning, afternoon, and early evening. There was a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued for the Houston, TX area, by NOAA. There were no other watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's and the high temps looked to be in the 90's, for the Houston, TX area.


Houston TX Storm Summary: Isolated moderate to moderately heavy and heavy showers and maybe a few thunderstorms looked to be scattered across the Houston, TX area, during the afternoon, evening, and maybe morning. I didn't hear about any reports of flooding, or storm damage.


My Storm Summary: Some light drizzle looked to be falling on my car's front window, on my way to work in northwest Houston, TX, during the early morning. I also saw a rainbow when I arrived to work in northwest Houston, TX, during the early morning. I didn't see any flooding, wet roads, puddles, lightning, storm clouds, or storm damage. I didn't hear any rumbles of thunder.

Thoughts: I am waiting for fall weather to arrive. Although I know this means that my pool swimming days will be over for awhile.
