Northwest Houston, TX, during the early morning.

Northwest Houston, TX, during the early evening.

Summary: The day was warm, mostly dry, and windy. A few moderate to moderately heavy showers in and around the Houston, TX area, during the early morning. I saw another group of isolated light showers just north of the Houston, TX area, on TWC's Houston, TX radar, during the early night. I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. Stratus and stratocumulus clouds looked to cover most of the sky, during the morning and maybe early and mid-afternoon. The sky looked to be completely clear, except for maybe a few cirro-stratus clouds, during the evening and night. There might have been some alto stratus clouds in the sky, during the early and mid-afternoon. The wind speeds looked to be gentle with moderate to moderately strong gusts with some occasional really strong gusts. It felt warm with a little cool wind, during the morning, late afternoon, evening, and night. It felt very warm, maybe almost hot, during the early and mid-afternoon. There were two River Flood Warnings still going on for the Houston, TX area. There were no other watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 70's with probably some 60's and the high temps looked to be in the 80's with maybe some 90's, for the Houston, TX area.

Houston, TX Storm Summary: A line of moderate to moderately heavy and maybe some heavy showers and some possible thunderstorms passed down from the north, towards the south of Houston, TX, during the early morning. Another group of light isolated showers looked to be just north and maybe in parts of north Houston, TX, during the early night. There was still flooding occurring, on some of the Houston, TX roadways. I didn't hear about any reports of damages anywhere in, or near the Houston, TX area.

My Storm Summary: I didn't see, hear, or feel any rain drops. The ground did looked wet from a recent, probably moderately heavy, or maybe moderate rainfall, when I arrived at work in northwest Houston, TX, during the mid-morning. I didn't see any storm damage, or hear any thunder, or see any lightning. The clouds looked dark in northwest Houston, TX, during the morning, but never produced any rain.

Locations: Northwest Houston, TX.

Thoughts: It felt nice outside today. I wonder if the temperatures are going to feel cool enough for me to want to wear a sweater tomorrow morning.
