Northwest Houston, TX, during the late morning.


Summary: The day was warm, sunny, and dry. No rain. I didn't see any rain on the radar anywhere in, or near the Houston, TX area. I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. The sky looked to be clear, or maybe mostly clear with a few alto stratus clouds, during the morning and early afternoon. Alto stratus clouds started to appear in the sky, sometime during the late, or maybe mid-afternoon, and lasted through the evening, I think. The sky looked to be clear, during the early night. The wind speeds looked to be calm with gentle to moderate gusts and some moderately strong gusts. It felt a little cool, during the early morning. It started to feel warm, sometime during the late, or maybe mid-morning. It felt very warm, during the afternoon. It felt warm, during the evening and night. There were still two River Flood Warnings issued for the Houston, TX area. There were no other watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 60's with maybe some 50's and the high temps looked to be in the 80's, for the Houston, TX area.


Houston, TX Storm Summary: There was no rain that I know of anywhere in, or near the Houston, TX area. Some roads in and around the Houston, TX area were still covered with water, resulting in still lots of road closures. Although I did hear on the news and from my dad that they did open up a few of the roads that had recently been underwater. I heard from my dad that they have stopped releasing water from the dams. I didn't hear about any storm damage.


My Storm Summary: I didn't see, feel, or hear any rain drops. I didn't see any storm clouds. I didn't hear any rumbles of thunder, or see any lightning. I didn't see any storm damage.


Locations: Northwest Houston, TX.


Thoughts: Another pleasant day. I tried to swim in the swimming pool, but the water was a little too cool, for me to feel comfortable.
