Summary: The day was cloudy, warm, and windy. Light to moderate with maybe some moderately heavy to heavy showers and some possible thunderstorms looked to linger around the coast of The Gulf of Mexico, just south of Houston, TX, during the morning, afternoon, and maybe evening and night. There looked to be some possible light fog, while I was on my way to work, in northwest Houston, TX, during the early morning. I felt some possible light rain drops, during the afternoon, I think, at work in northwest Houston, TX. The sky looked to be completely covered in stratus clouds, during the morning, afternoon, and maybe night. Stratus, or maybe alto stratus clouds looked to almost completely cover the sky with some patches of blue sky, during the evening. The wind speeds looked to be calm with gentle to moderate gusts with some moderately strong gusts and maybe some really strong 20 mph gusts. It felt warm with some occasional almost cool wind gusts, during the morning, afternoon, evening and early night. It felt a little cool with a cool wind, during the early night. There were no watches, warnings, alerts, advisories, or weather statements/outlooks issued for the Houston, TX area, during anytime of the day, that I know of. The low temps looked to be in the 60's and the high temps looked to be in the 80's, for the Houston, TX area.


Houston, TX Storm Summary: Light to moderate with maybe some moderately heavy to heavy showers and some possible thunderstorms looked to linger around the coast of The Gulf of Mexico, just south of Houston, TX, during the morning, afternoon, and maybe evening and night. I didn't hear, or see any reports of flooding, or storm damage.


My Storm Summary:  I felt some possible light rain drops, during the afternoon, I think, at work in northwest Houston, TX. The clouds looked like they were going to produce rain, but they didn't. I didn't see any flooding, wet roads, or wet ground, lightning, or storm damage. I didn't hear any rumbles of thunder.


Locations: Northwest and west Houston, TX.


Thoughts: It is starting to feel more like fall.
