Strong Storms Then Mostly Cloudy Sky's!


Last of the storms, these were the last storms to pass through Houston.


There were some flash flood warnings issued because of all the continuous heavy rainfall.

Today was warm with a low of 66 degrees and a high of 82 degrees. Moderate rain was falling, the wind speeds were calm, and the humidity level was high at 12 am. The visiblity was 4 miles when I checked at around 12:05 am. Rain became heavy at around 12:30 am. The rain seemed to be moderately heavy when I checked at around 1:10 am. The rain was light when I checked at around 1:30 am. I noticed that I wasn't seeing anymore lightning strikes but, I was still hearing loud booms of thunder at around 1:40 am, There seemed to be a dense fog and the visiblity was 2 miles when I checked. The dense fog seemed to be lighter and the visibility was 4 miles when I checked at around 1:50 am. The rain was moderate and I started to see some lightning strikes when I went to sleep at around 2 am. it was raining moderately heavy when I checked at around 5:30 am. The visibility was 1.3 miles when I checked at around 5:40 am. I stopped hearing thunder at around 6 am, The visibility was 1.8 miles when I checked. The rain was moderate when I checked at around 6:10 pm. The rain, thunder, and lightning had stopped, it was still cloudy, and the wind speeds were calm with some gusts around 5 mph when I checked at around 8 am. The humidity level was really high and the visibility was back to 10 miles but, there still seemed to be a light fog when I checked at around 8:10 pm. The sky started to become mostly cloudy and the fog leave at around 10 am. The wind speeds rose up to around 5 mph with some gusts around 20 mph at around 10:40 am. The wind speeds were around 5 mph with some gusts around 20 mph from the late morning to most of the late afternoon. The wind speeds were calm with some gusts around 5 mph and the humidity level was a little high when I checked at around 5 pm. The sky was partly cloudy when I checked at around 5:40 pm. The wind speeds were calm with gusts around 5 mph, some around 15 and 20 mph when I was putting food out for the opossum and raccoon at around 6 pm. The sky was partly cloudy and the wind speeds were around 5 mph when I checked at around 7:20 pm. The wind speeds were calm when I checked at around 8:10 pm. The sky looked clear and the humidity level was high when I checked at around 9 pm. There seemed to be a light fog when I checked at around 9:20 pm. The sky looked partly cloudy, the wind speeds were around 5 mph with some gusts around 15 mph, and the visibility was 9 miles when I checked at around 11 pm. The sky was mostly cloudy when I looked out of my bedroom window at around 11:40 pm. The wind speeds were calm when I checked at around 5 minutes till the end of the day. The light fog seemed to be gone when I checked at around 2 minutes till the end of the day. The sky was still mostly cloudy, the humidity levels were still high, and the visibility was still 9 miles at the end of the day. Alot of rain fell has a train of storms moved through the southern areas of Houston early in the morning. The area that reported the highest rainfall total reported 6.12 inches in south east Houston. My area reported .92 inches of rain. The day was warm and breezy.
